Each time you turn on your vehicle, its engine becomes a hot burning boiler that can reach thousands of degrees temperature. With that being said it's important to monitor its temperature to prevent one dreaded thing: overheating. Basically, the entire cooling system is built to make sure that the engine's temperature won't go spiraling out of control. At the heart of the cooling system is its main component called the Radiator. Typically made of aluminum, radiators are built cool down the engine through the help of the coolant. Most of them are mounted just behind the grill, so that they receive the cool air each time your auto presses forward. In addition to that, radiators are equipped with two coolant tanks that store hot coolant and cold coolant. Basically, there's a collection of tubes that connect these two tanks, allowing unimpeded flow of the coolant between them. Your rig's Radiator is connected to the coolant through two special tubes. This component gets its work done once the coolant has already flowed through the radiator hose and heater core system. This coolant is then transferred all throughout the engine block in order to absorb as much heat as possible. When you're engine starts bogging down because of overheating, check its radiator as soon as possible. Many people end up spending thousands of dollars in repair bills because they've overlooked the importance of this component. Choose a top-caliber brand that will give you your money's worth and excellent service at the same time.
