Each time you turn on your vehicle, its engine becomes a hot burning boiler that can reach thousands of degrees temperature. In addition to that, radiators are equipped with two coolant tanks that store hot coolant and cold coolant. Basically, there's a collection of tubes that connect these two tanks, allowing unimpeded flow of the coolant between them. Your rig's Radiator is connected to the coolant through two special tubes. This component gets its work done once the coolant has already flowed through the radiator hose and heater core system. This coolant is then transferred all throughout the engine block in order to absorb as much heat as possible. When you're engine starts bogging down because of overheating, check its radiator as soon as possible.
