Every air conditioning system relies on the refrigerant in order to be efficient. The refrigerant is the substance responsible for absorbing the heat from your cabin, and it's the reason you feel the cool breeze each time you turn on your car's AC system. With its circulation, you and your passengers are able to enjoy the cool comfort inside your auto even if it's scorching hot outside. The typical air conditioning system is comprised of the evaporator, condenser, receiver–driver, and the compressor through which the refrigerant passes. But, all these parts are useless without another crucial component–the AC Hose that transports the refrigerant from one air conditioning component to another. Technically speaking, hoses are hollow tubes that are built to carry fluids from one place to another. Unlike pipes, hoses are flexible. And instead of metal, they are made of materials that include nylon, polyurethane, PVC, and even synthetic rubber. Some other AC hoses are made of Teflon and Low Density Polyethylene. Unfortunately, most hoses are susceptible to damage like tearing, which can lead to leaks. A damaged hose should be repaired immediately to avoid problems. These days, there are special sealing agents that can cover them effectively. However, if the damage is already too severe to be repaired, better look for a replacement AC Hose as soon as possible. High–quality hoses come with various features and they're so accessible these days. That being said, you don't have to worry about getting a replacement when the need arises.
