Cooling your vehicle's cabin is what your air conditioning system is all about. Composed of several parts such as the compressor, condenser, evaporator, receiver-drier, and orifice tube and different kinds of hoses; it gives you superb comfort even if the temperature is scorching hot outside. Because of the AC system, your ride stays cozy, while you're protected from all the heat. Meanwhile, every team has a main guy and when it comes to your air conditioning system, it has to be the AC Compressor. Technically, the compressor is a pump that is powered by a belt that is attached to the engine. Simply put, it functions just like the heart because it pumps the cooling agent all throughout. As its name suggests, it is the one responsible for compressing and distributing refrigerant gas to all parts of the system. Just like every main part, the compressor can be found at the center of the system. To do its job, it absorbs low-pressure refrigerant that comes from the accumulator and the evaporator. After that, the compressor squeezes the refrigerant, causing it to increase in temperature and pressure. Next, the already compressed refrigerant would then be sent to the condenser before being delivered to all parts of the air conditioning system. With the crucial job that it has, it's imperative that you take care of your AC Compressor always. With that being said, be sure that you always make time for a maintenance checkup. If your stock compressor is no longer properly though, get a replacement from your trusted brand.
